New Teeth

After more than two weeks of this:





The new teeth finally broke through!

Splash Park at the Zoo

The zoo has an amazing splash park. The kids loved it. Jonas is always a little timid at first, but once he is good and wet, he has a blast.

The little fountains come on intermittently and he would just get to one that was on and it would turn off. Another one would come on and he would run to it. It was cute. Unfortunately I couldn't get a good shot of his face because he was always running away from me.

The park has a really cool cave with two slides.

Kate is at the top of the slide. I am not really sure what the deal is with all the crazy pirate faces lately.

Frustrated Jonas. "These rocks are just too high and slippery! Mom, stop taking pictures and help me!"

Naughty Eyes

Kate showed us what "naughty eyes" look like.

Jerk!!!

Quest called me while I was driving today. The conversation was not pleasant. I got of the phone and muttered, "Jerk!"

Kate said,"You're a jerk."

I replied, "No I am not."

She said, "Yes you are Mommie. You have those naughty eyes."

Phx Zoo

We went to the Phoenix Zoo on John's day off. The kids had a great time.



I think the baboons like to interact with people. They are always sitting right by the glass.

Unfortunately there is a lot of glare in this picture so you can't see that Kate is practically kissing the Baboon.

Kate loved the carousel. I thought she would pick something like the seahorse or pink dragon, but no, she wanted to ride the shark.

This little fellow's name is Pedro.

This is Jack.

The kids' favorite part of the day was playing with the goats.

Friendship Park

Since the weather has cooled down a bit (now 95 instead of 102) we have been going to the park. The kids like Friendship park because there is a duck pond. I don't have any pictures of the kids feeding the ducks because if I were to let go of Jonas long enough to take one he would be swimming with the ducks instead of just feeding them.

Jonas feeds the ducks like this. Throw a piece, eat a piece, think about throwing a piece, change mind, eat a piece.

Jonas loves the swings the most.

He can also go down the slides by himself!

Stuff

This is Kate's new "Spiderman" Dress. When I ask her to pose for her picture this is the face she gave me. I had to beg for a nice face.
