Superred (At least I think that's how you'd spell it)

Kate: Not super quiet! Not super soft! Not super danged!

We finally caved. The little chickies at the farm store where we buy our dog food were far too tempting.

This one is Kate's chicken. She named her Sally. She is not really a fan of being held.

Now we just need to build a coop and hopefully we will have eggs in 4-6 months!

Cooling Off in Payson

So, I spent the morning of the 4th a little weepy. Independence Day is one of my favorite holidays. I spent the morning reading everyone's updates on facebook about parades, camp outs, BBQs with the fam.

Ya, no parades here, too hot. No going to the river, there isn't any water in it and did I mention it's hot? John had to work at night, so we went to the fireworks with a friend. Fireworks were good, but hot.

Sunday we decided to explore a little. We drove to Payson which is about 2 1/2 hours North East of us. We found a little camping area next to a stream, played in the water and eased the homesickness a little.

The dogs were happy too. Jackson hardly left the water. He didn't even hang around and try to beg for hot dogs. Too busy swimming.

Jonas always "counts" before he jumps. He gets louder and louder the closer he gets to take-off.
