Cricket Killer
We are being invaded by crickets. I kid you not, I kill at least a dozen a day, or usually night since the creepy little turds are nocturnal. This is what Jonas has to say about it.

Smelly
Jonas must have thought Ben's stinky diaper was just too much to take. When I picked Baby Ben up to change that diaper, his head smelled like Bath and Body Works in the Fall. Jonas apparently had tried to freshen him up a bit with spiced pumpkin air freshener.

Happy Little Find
I was digging in our desk to find some DVD-R's and found this happy little disk. Though I didn't find the DVD-R's, the search was successful.

I have the full on bloated pregnant face going. Jonas was born about 2 weeks after these pictures were taken.

Mowgli Baby
Ben is mobile. I don't think you can call his method of locomotion crawling. Monkey walking is more accurate.

Free First Friday Fiasco
The first Friday evening of every month is free at the Phoenix Children's Museum. What fun?! Okay, not really.
The event starts at 6 pm and goes until 10 pm. We arrived at 7:30 and stood in a line that extended across the front lawn of the building, out the gate and down the street. And guess what, this was just the line to get a number to wait to be called in. We were #376. At the time they were calling #s 70-80.
They did have a DJ and a Magic show for a while. There were these tunnel things for the kids to play in. So we waited.
and waited
and waited
and waited

and waited

and waited.
Finally at about 9:00 they let us in. We crowded in, avoided rude little children and parent's elbows, and fought our way through the exhibits.
Chef Kate

A whole room full of . . . what do you call these things? Toys where you put a ball in and it rolls through and does a bunch of cool stuff. Whatever they are called, I have some cool ideas for toys John should build.
Vacuum tubes - The kids could put colored scarves in and watch them shoot through the tubes. They could switch levers to change the route of the scarves took.

Fort room
And finally "The Climber"
3 stories of crazy climbing maze for kids to loose their fitness challenged parents in.

In the end, I guess it all worked out well. Because we were the last ones to get in, there were a lot of people leaving. By about 9:45 we didn't have to fight little ill mannered monster children so much. The kids had a fantastic time and I guess that is what matters.

What!?!
The kids and I were sitting down to a nice lunch. Jonas gets out of his chair, goes to the back sliding door and opens it.
Me: Jonas where are you going?
Jonas starts pulling his pants down.
Me: (In a much louder and more concerned voice) Jonas! What are you doing?!
Jonas: Peeing on dog!
